چکیده

Schiff bases are a proven moiety in antitubercular drug discovery and the development. Drug is never-ending process due to evolving resistance by bacteria, as result, there need of developing new drugs. In this continuous discovery, series synthesized using quinoline carbohydrazide upon coupling with different aldehydes ethanolic media through multistep synthesis. These compounds were purified characterized spectroscopic techniques. The molecules vitro screened for antifungal antibacterial potential Agar well diffusion assay, activity microplate Alamar blue an attempt has been made study in-silico relationship between base derivatives 4a-f crystal structure M. tuberculosis (5V3Y) protein molecular docking studies. Synthesized show good interaction fulfill ADMET characteristics silico experiments. Among tested, compound 4d was found be active against bacteria fungi. Compound 4b sensitive at 50 µg/mL concentration.

Novel Schiff Bases of Pyrrole: Synthesis, Experimental and Theoretical Characterizations, Fluorescent Properties and Molecular Docking

Some new Schiff-base compounds based on pyrrole were synthesized by the reaction of 2-amino-1-methyl-4,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile (1)with aromatic aldehydes (2a-2e) in ethanol/acetic acid at room temperature. The structures of the Schiff bases were characterized by full spectral data. The fluorescence emission intensity of the Schiff bases has bee...

Discovery of novel phthalimide analogs: Synthesis, antimicrobial and antitubercular screening with molecular docking studies

In continuation of our endeavor towards the design and development of potent and effective antimicrobial agents, three series of phthalimide derivatives (4a-i, 5a-f, and 6a-c) were synthesized, fully characterized and evaluated for their potential antibacterial, antifungal and antimycobacterial activities. These efforts led to the discovery of nine compounds 4c, 4f, 4g, 4h, 4i, 5c, 5d, 5e, and ...
